Gluten Free Cookbook

So much food is processed these days. But what goes in it?

There are chemicals, additives, sugars, fats and colourings, but perhaps the biggest toxic additive for many people is wheat or gluten.

Gluten is used to make many foods in the western-based diet or added to products as a thickener or as a bulking agent. It is poison to those who are sensitive to wheat or to those who are gluten intolerant.

Our latest book is out now

There are many obvious food sources that contain gluten: such as breads, pastas, pastries and cereals, but it is also prevalent in discreet sources that you need to be wary about, such as: self-basting chicken and turkey, some cold cuts of meat, licorice, ice cream, many flavoured milks and most soy milks, salad dressings, sauces, marinades, chutneys, lollies and even the drinking chocolate sprinkled on top of cappuccinos!

Committing to a gluten free diet is a fantastic opportunity to adopt and embrace a healthy approach to eating. Bulk up your diet with fresh foods and unprocessed meat, chicken and seafood, and adopt new grains (gluten free of course) into your eating plan.

Many of your favourite recipes can be made gluten free, whether it’s a comforting ravioli, a delicious curry or a decadent chocolate dessert.
